For diversion, I was fortunate to have a visitor in the ER-- a friend since college, who had very kindly journeyed down from Connecticut to see me. We had a spirited visit. In fact, out of respect for the other patients and their caretakers, we struggled to subdue our chuckling. We parted with a plan to get together again soon, in a more fun environment.
