Good Friday

Yesterday was Good Friday. And I did have a good day. I felt better than I have in a while and was able to enjoy a leisurely lunch with a friend at a superb, Greek, seafood restaurant that offers a year-round, "Restaurant Week," three-course, specially priced lunch menu.

A friend, who has had to endure a lot of physical pain, recently included in an e-mail to me the expression, "Every day is good." Having found lots of references to "Every day is a good day," but none to his favorite expression, I asked him if he originated it? He replied that it is too profound to be original-- it is simply his favorite expression.
