Easter Sunday

In New York City, the weather was perfect for Easter paraders and for those, like us, who had a quiet Easter dinner at home with friends, then watched an epic Masters on television.  In recent years, Susan and I have joined the Candee family at The Creek club on the north shore of Long Island for Easter dinner. This year,  we thought the trip might be too ambitious. Though I was tired just before sitting down to write this blog entry,  my spirits were lifted upon learning the stirring news of the rescue of the American sea captain from the pirates!
